MISSION STATEMENT
The McMillan Childrens Foundation seeks to enrich the lives and enhance the physical, emotional, social and intellectual well being of children throughout the world. Our focus is on providing support for the children in Colombia.
Our PROJECTS
Hogar Bambi Bogotá
Donated $30,000 for the construction of a new childrens home in Bogota, Colombia. This home will hold 60 children from the surrounding area.
Fundación Las Golondrinas
A total of $20,000 was donated for learning materials and additional staff in a kindergarten class with 300 disadvantaged children in Medellin, Colombia.

Dolya Dytyny
The renovation of schools and children’s homes in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. The refurbishment of windows and replacement of heating systems were completed. A total of 4 grants were made in 2006 totaling $105,768.
GRANT REQESTS
Although many requests fall within our guidelines and certainly merit support, this Foundation is only able to make grant awards to a limited number of organizations each year. All Foundation grants are to be used exclusively for charitable public benefit purposes.
Continuing long-term support is not the intent of McMillan Childrens Foundation grantmaking.
WHO WE ARE
The McMillan Childrens Foundation was founded in 2004 to support children in need. A private family foundation, it is driven by both personal values and international expertise.
The Foundation was established by John J. McMillan. John has held a life-long commitment to service on behalf of children. His sense of social responsibility led to the founding of the McMillan Childrens Foundation.
